Compared to local SEO, organic SEO is much broader. While local SEO only focuses on targeting you to a specific area, organic SEO thinks about the entire picture and works to bring you up as a leader in your industry. It takes time to see the results from an organic SEO strategy, but the results are usually long lasting and build a solid foundation.
There are a number of components that contribute to a strong organic SEO strategy, including using the right keywords and keyword placement, consistently delivering great content that is in line with the direction of your website, and that you fully optimize the pages of your website. An organic SEO strategy should also consider the amount of engagement found on the social media pages, including comments, shares, interactions, and follows.
If you consider both local SEO and organic SEO, they both have different goals in mind. The goal of a local SEO strategy is to show that you are relevant in that particular area for the service that you provide, but an organic SEO strategy is to establish your company as an expert. A local SEO strategy can be implemented and results can be seen much more quickly than that of an organic SEO strategy, but it often means that the successes of a local SEO strategy can quickly be lost if not constantly adjusted.
